ON OCTOBER 11, 2025, APEX AMERICAN LEGION POST 124 WILL HOST OUR ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST EVENT AT THE APEX TOWN CAMPUS.
This event supports the American Legion and its mission of “Veterans supporting Veterans & supporting our community, while serving our nation.”

The American Legion Post 124 will host the annual Oktoberfest event at the Apex Town Campus on October 11, 2025. This event supports the American Legion and its mission of "Veterans supporting Veterans & supporting our community, while serving our nation."
This is a community event hosted by the Apex American Legion Post 124.
Volunteer Duties & Your Impact
Volunteers will assist with festival set up, break down, and everything in between. You are welcome to sign up for as many shifts as you would like during the event.
Role Descriptions
Setup
Be part of the crew that brings our event to life! Help arrange tables, decorate, and get everything ready beforehand to set the stage for a great event.
Kids Zone
Make memories for our youngest guests! Supervise the bounce-house and other activities in a safe, friendly space.
Cooking & Brats
Bring the heat (and delicious smells)! Help prepare and serve tasty bratwurst for our guests to enjoy.
Pretzels
Twist up some fun! Assist in warming, serving, and selling fresh, warm pretzels everyone will love.
Desserts
Sweeten the experience! Help plate, serve, and manage the dessert table to keep everyone smiling.
Floaters
The MVPs of the day! Jump in wherever help is needed to keep everything running smoothly.
Teardown
Wrap up the day with teamwork! Help pack, clean, and restore the space so we leave it better than we found it.
Work Environment
This event will be primarily outdoors, so please be prepared for all weather. There will be amplified sound and crowds present. Set up and clean up shifts require the ability to carry up to 20 pounds. Bathrooms are available in the John Brown Community Center or Apex Senior Center and food trucks will be on site.
Requirements
Ages 14+. Volunteers under 18 will be prompted to have a parent signature on the waiver and release form. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent and receive prior approval to volunteer.
Other Instructions
Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes.
In accordance with Town of Apex Volunteer Program Policies and Procedures Manual, this opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed or suggested community service hours.
